This webinar has started out with a common topic I discuss in my workshops: Test types. People always want to know about what is a unit test vs. component test. But it goes deeper than that.
Everybody knows what an API test is, but when you’re testing a whole service, or testing the same API but with a mock database, are we still talking about the same test?
We use different names, mixing up technologies, code and assumptions. In the end, what is important, is using the right tool (and test) for the job.
So here’s this recording, where I talk about diffrent test types, but more importatntly, how to evaluate tests for the job. What do we get, and what is the cost.
