Coming back again to Nordic Testing Days in Tallinn, Estonia in June. This time, it’s going to be for a presentation on Spock, the inter-galactic unit test framework. Ok, not a regular inter-galactic, let’s call it a inter java galactic test framework. And you can do a lot with Spock, that you’ll have to try hard with JUnit.
“Spock, it’s only logical” is a presentation about the Spock test framework. Spock is written in Groovy, which is a JVM language, and that means you can use Spock for testing Java code. The presentation talks about what Groovy does that Java doesn’t (hint: more functionality in less code), and how Spock takes these language features and make for clearer tests.
