It was great doing a short “Better Estimation and Planning” presentation on the Kiev Project Management Day, which was online this time, considering the coronavirus roaming the streets.
In these times, both planning and estimation the way we used to is changed, and the data we’ve used as the baseline for our future estimates is no longer reliable. As work gets slower and our processes need reinventing, we need to start collecting data and metrics again. I’ve talked about this in short in the presentation, and I talk about it in depth in my online courses (especially the Better Estimation course, of course).
